Davis Horticultural Services, Inc. has been serving the Lackawanna, Wyoming and Susquehanna county area for over 20 years.  After graduating from Temple University with a degree in Landscape Architecture, I ventured out and worked for a large tree nursery and then a landscape firm before coming home and settling in the Scranton area.  I started our business in 1994 after working as the staff horticulturist for a local country club.  While with the country club, I designed and installed the landscapes across the newly constructed property in areas such as the clubhouse, cart barn, and pool cabana.  For over two years I designed and led the installation of trees and landscapes throughout the country club. As construction and planting was drawing to a close, I was able to venture out and start Davis Horticultural Services, Inc.

We specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of unique, functional landscapes customized to the clients’ needs and specific site conditions.  We strive to give each client a unique design that will give each property four seasons of interest. We do this by choosing a diverse grouping of plants, accompanied by stone and other architectural features combined with a quality landscape lighting design.  All of these items combined will offer interest through the year both day and night.  Our plant selections utilize a variety of plant material that will fit the style and maintenance requirements of each property.  Plant selections can include the use of natives, pollinator and bird friendly plant, and four season designs.
